Does anyone know a way to use Reports (the search query) to find all patients with a flag. Preferably flags on all pages, but mainly on the MRE.

Thanks.

Hi Bert.

You can run the report like this to get all flags.

Demographics - Flag Name - Contains - *Leave value field blank*

This will give you a list of all the flags used on patients in the system. Make sure you click on the "Show all query results" box in the lower left to see the actual flag names.

Hi Mark,

Thanks! That worked great. Just a couple of questions. It brought back 12 patients. (Yes, I must use the flags a lot, lol). I was able to open three charts and delete the flags. On the others, I noticed there were no flags. I went through all the tabs and didn't see any. When I opened the flag, I noticed that the nine patients had flag names that were no longer in the flag. For instance, one of the patients had "Abnormal labs" for a name in the last column on the right, but there was no longer that option to be checked in the flag. So, if you set up a flag and check off a name which is there and save it, if you at some point delete that name, will that patient come up in the query but not have a flag?

Thanks.

Interesting situation Bert. I did a test and it looks like the flag can be removed from the system even if it is still active on a patient. This means that the flag could never be removed from the patient as its no longer an option. I'll talk to Dev/Tech to see if we can come up with something for this scenario.

Thanks Mark. It's just weird, because there will be NO flags on a patient that is listed, yet when you run another query, they show up.

While you are talking to them, can you ask them to allow us to change colors on the flags. Green, yellow, red would be awesome. smile

I know I am cheating asking for improvements here, lol.
