Whoa ! this is going to prove to be an amazing functionality towards qualifying for MIPS/MACRA/NCQA/your state quality program. Highly impressed so far - went for my first walk through and easily meeting 2016 PQRS using AC without clicking another f'ing box.
I never bothered going for PQRS before but this makes for AUTOMATIC pulling and reporting of the quality data that you have already done but have no way of demonstrating to the feds, state, quality organizations, etc.
A little doohickey program sits on your main computer and extracts data from the SQL database from 1-4AM every night .
Looks like I will be able to substitute all of my quality data pulling ( BMI, tobacco use, DM in control, BP in control, depression screening ) that I have been doing by friggin' hand for the past 18 months using PRIME registry . Hallelujah!
Our specialty society is FINALLY doing something to help us !!!
Whoohoo !
Anyone else using this with AC? Would like to compare notes.

We have about 70 AC users enrolled with PRIME today and it's growing. They are also our endorsed partner for AC users to meet the new CPC+ requirements. We're quite impressed with their service level and expect to be working with them more closely in the future.

Prime Registry is the brainchild of ABFM. They wanted members to have an easy way to comply with "Quality" reporting . They contracted with an IT company ( FIGmd ) and subsidized the build and maintenance of a program (PRIME SAN) which extracts data from multiple EMR databases and generates reports on NQF metrics, for example: % of patients between 18 and 75 with hypertension seen in the last year with bp < 140/90 at the last visit, producing rolling reports with numerator and demonminator
here's a link: http://primenavigator.org/
The program is also available for other specialties ( for a higher price ( I think) than the stated price for ABFM members) and available free if you join a regional ' practice transformation network", in my area I joined TCPi ( transforming clinical practice initiative

Any on the list using this? If 70 practices have signed up I imagine SOMEONE has been working this method.
Want to know how good they really are at mapping the corners of AC where I have hidden the documentation keywords, eg:
if I have free texted the text string "down, depressed , hopeless" under ROS section - as a harbinger of "in the past 2 weeks, have you felt down, depressed, hopeless? in the past 2 weeks have you enjoyed things as much as usual" can I get them to map that to screening for depression done with PHQ2 ? does it work?

I am looking into PRIME and working on joining my area's practice information network, which so far is quite clunky and laborious. I'm also concerned the PTN is expecting me to do a bunch of busy work I really don't want to do. How have things been working with your PTN?
