Well my document feeder on my Printer/Scanner is acting up. So much so that the staff has put a picture of Bob Marley on it because it "be jammin'".
What should I get? No need for faxing. Stuff I need it to do: 1) Ethernet hook up 2) I like to where I can program buttons on the machine- one for single sided scanning and one for double sided. 3) print duplex 4) Scan to PDF into a network folder
Thanks! Scott

Scott,
You have to be, "I need help too" at the bottom of your signature. I will take a look tomorrow. Dumb question? But, you didn't really say. Are you looking to get a new scanner.
Everyone generally swears by Fujitu scanners. Some like Brothers. They have gone out of style since the Leslie/Bert debates.

Fujitsu ScanSnap. But it doesn't meet your whole list.

+1 on ScanSnap! Changed my life, and I'm not joking. It's almost all digital, and the "paper tiger" is mostly dead.

+Fujitsu ScanSnap. Just buy it.
It's not a multi-function device - all it does it scan. Bu what it does, it does very, very, well.

Donald Trump uses a ScanSnap. And, Hillary always uses one when scanning documents to Russia. Can't go wrong.

I'm going to throw a new scanner in the mix. The Canon DR-C225 which I think is pretty competitive with the ScanSnap. The other big upside is that it does have a TWAIN driver and offers similar performance.
We work with some offices that use EMR's/PM software that need TWAIN Drivers. We have 30 in the field now and stopped using scansnaps for a bit. They are about the same price. One of the upsides is that it's more a vertical design so you don't have to unfold a tray like the ScanSnap.
I could do a side-by-side video if people are interested. ix500 vs DR-C225

I like the ScanSnaps for longevity. I'm still using a SnapScan put in service in 2007.
I have to admit that it would be nice to have a TWAIN driver though.

I would love that comparison!
I am a big fan of the ix500 and have multiple in the office all on wifi. I noticed however, when my non-admin windows users restart there computer, it cannot find the device on wifi. It then has to be reconnected with USB to then allow the wifi to be enabled. Any suggestions?
