Since the hospital-affiliated lab converted from Centricity to Epic on May 1st, I've stopped getting HL7 labs imported into AC. AC support has looked at it and it's not an AC problem. Clearly the lab is at fault, but nobody seems to know why, or how to fix it. Anybody else run into this problem, and how did it get fixed?
Thanks,
Dave FP

If you are referring to PeaceHealth's recent conversion, my link is not working properly. I can still import the labs but now they are coming individually. Rather than all the labs drawn on the patient, I will get one item with the CBC, another with the CMP and TSH and another with the urine results. Before the switch, everything came as one report. No solution yet.

David,
I've seen that one too! About 2 years ago I got the individual, non-collated results for awhile, but that got fixed fairly quickly. I've gotten a couple of labs through the system in the non-collated version recently too, but for the most part just not getting any labs. IT in Eugene has been working on it. Talked with the St. Joe's lab director today and she is aware of the issues. As she said, "You're not the only one". Apparently she was right! The biggest problem is not knowing which labs I'm not getting. We're paper tracking everything we can for now. Hopefully it gets resolved before my imported items are so full of PDFs that AC slows to a crawl.

I emailed AC support and heard back from Tim quickly. It has something to do with how their new system tags the labs. They have been in touch and made recommendations to the other IT folks, so keep your fingers crossed!
