There is a Walmart pharmacy #3463 located near our office that is not showing up in AC. Its our nearest Walmart and many patients are not able to get their prescriptions e-prescribed. I have verified with SureScripts through NewCropRx that this Walmart is registered. Does anybody know how to get it to show up in AC? We've searched by name, number, zip, everything.

Hi Josue,
I do see the pharmacy via the Newcrop screen. There is an option to add the pharmacy but I've never used it. I can see the Walmart you are talking about when I did the search as noted below. But if I add it, it doesn't show up for me when I try searching when writing a new rx.
Although from the Newcrop screen it does show up on my list where it says "This list is generated as pharmacies are selected for patients. To remove seldom used pharmacies, check boxes and click Delete. To correct a fax number, click the pharmacy name, enter the number and click Save."
Here's the steps I took but see if it works for you
From the WRITE SCRIPTS screen, click "ePrescribing" in the upper left hand corner. Then Click "Manage via NewCrop Screen". Click "Admin" (Upper right corner under version #), then click "Location Pharmacy List". Then click "add pharmacy" then put in the zipcode and click "search". Check the box next to the Wal-mart pharmacy. Then scroll up and click "add checked pharmacy" (it's a gray box surrounded by blue and says next to it "Pharmacy Search Results"
I would contact AC and let them know you added it this way and see what other steps you need to take. Let us know what you find out. Good luck

Marty, thanks. I think that is a step in the right direction. By following your steps I was able to add that Walmart pharmacy to the list. However this is all within the "Newcrop Screen." Once out of there and in AC that Walmart can not be found. As usual, I have gotten no response from tech support.

Josue,
Did you at least get an email that your request for support was received? If you called them, I would suggest you go to the website under the "Help me Now" section. I usually get a response back faster that way.

I did immediately get an email with Ticket number but still have not heard back. Since now we are having e-Rx issues I emailed this AM with an "Urgent" subject line and have not heard back. I also left a message via the Chat function online. I called and left a message and have been checking the Chat available hourly but all GA are unavailable. Do you message Technical support or Product support?

You are seeing this message because all Guardian Angel Support representatives are currently unavailable. Please close this window, click the ?Chat with Us? button in the previous window, and try again. Normal business hours are from 8:00am-9:00pm EST. If you continue to see this message, or If this is an after-hours emergency (i.e., your database has crashed and you have patients waiting), you should call us at (866) 382-5932 and leave the details of your emergency. I have nightmares of ever having that emergency and being unable to reach them for days.

I usually message Technical support if I have an issue. Last I had an issue, I received a call back within 4 hours.

Just a thought:
Walmart is listed as Wal-mart in express scripts. You have to put in the dash.

We knew about the dash, thanks. Did get to speak to Tech Support but they could not fix it through a Meds update. Then they said it was Newcrops fault for not pushing the update through, which he said they do monthly.. It's been over three months since this Walmart reopened
