Getting "An automated process failed: MedsUpdates" message daily since updating to 8.2.5. Now up to "484 consecutive failures". No support response to emails for a week. Live Chat never seems to be online anymore. Anybody got this one figured out? Thanks. Dave

Have you restarted the server? Or at least the main Services running on the server?
If so, and as long as its not crashing AC, I would ignore it. When we begin receiving those alert messages they usually go away after about a week's time.
Even if you get a hold of GA (gone away) Support they will only restart your services as I mentioned above and say you should be set. You may/may not get the message the next morning.

Dear Amazing Dave,
Please go to your main computer for Amazing Charts. Right click on my computer and choose manage. There you should find services. There should be three services starting with AmazingCharts. Right click each of these and choose restart. This is what Josue is suggesting. If that does not work please let me know Crich@amazingcharts.com.

Thanks for the suggestions. Ryan at GA worked diligently on this yesterday, booted it up to 3rd level techs and got back to me before noon with a repair (code had to be written). We'll see tomorrow if I get any more failed notices. Dave

No problem. Did you find out or did they tell you what that process failure means?

Hold it! Now there's an 8.2.5 version?

I thought the same at first, but I doubt it. He probably meant 8.2.4

"Version 8.2.5, build 160".
And... The MedsUpdate failure problem has been fixed by Ryan and friends at Guardian Angels! Thanks to all at Guardian Angels for your timely attention and expertise. Dave

The AC Client Portal still offers 8.2.4 as the latest version.
I'm starting the rumor that 8.2.5 is only for "a small number of users affected" by the version 8 slowdowns.

Updated from 6.3.3 to 8.2.5. No significant slowdowns noted. A few quirks, but not sure if they're 8.2.5 related or common to previous versions since I was happily humming along with 6.3.3 and only updated for ICD-10. Using MediSoft for PM, no Meaningful Use, so lots of shiny buttons I'll never use. Anybody else think the text boxes look like gun-slits in a pillbox? Dave

There is an 8.2.5 patch version that we just released and I'll be updating the portal in the next week once we have had 100+ users on it....It is a very minor patch that has little value to the majority of users so there is no compelling reason to update to it if you're already on 8.2.4 with the performance enhancements.
