Hi!
We are starting to use Office Ally, and we have been using EZclaim since two years ago.
I need to know if EZClaim would let me Export Claims in order to be uploaded to Office Ally, because i'm aware that they can submit electronic claims to the payer.
Also, i would like to know your opinion about Office Ally... And if you know something about how to submit electronic Claims to Community Health Group.
Thanks in advance.

EZclaim advanced had a Availity / OfficeAlly module that lets secure file transfers between servers at the office and at Office Ally or Availity. I don't know for how long EZclaims will work as the support ends at the end of the year. A claim batch can be created with EZclaims and Amazing charts and uploaded to Office Ally. Amazing charts claim scrubbing is very rudimentary and EZclaims lets you prepare much cleaner and detailed claims. Unless you use OA EMR and schedule, the claims have to be manually created and posted. Also, I am not sure how good their practice management reports and patient statements are. It is a real dilemma for us also. Not sure what we will do if EZclaims stops woorking.

I have been using OA for over a year. But I have problems with BCBS claims. BCBS requires a Billing Provider Specialty/Taxonomy code. The code is not uploaded to OA. How can I correct this? I have called AC and their reply was to for us to transition to AC Practice Management and Billing. There has to be a better way.
Thanks for your help.

I suggest scrubbing the claims manually on OA. The website allows claim errors to be corrected. I dont think AC bills are refined or scrubbable.

We are having the same problem now with United Healthcare Claims. Has anyone found a way of submitting the taxonomy code without a lot of manual input? We export to Office Ally as well and do not use the AC Practice management module.
thank you, Aaron Way

First, the Taxonomy code has to be populated in the Ezclaims provider library. If you still have issues, reach out to Ezclaims and Office Ally support and they might be able to figure out where that information is getting lost. They need to map the fields sometimes and it may take time to get it fixed.
