Jon has indicated there will be a minor upgrade this month, a version 3.7.
If you could pick ONE SMALL THING for him to fix, that would "only take a minute" to correct or improve, what would it be?

Having the ability to disable the use of the encounter form at the end of the note. I use my own paper forms, and hate clicking the no, no, yes buttons all day long.

Add an email/message button so that you can message the patient orders form to the front desk.

Ability to edit/delete/add medications to the database directly from the prescription writer. This way, we will have a useful database (eventually, customized to one's need).

All these are great.
I want the "Undo" bug fixed in the HPI field. Currently, if you hit "undo", all your text disappears and is replaced with the word "Data".
I would also like AC to put one line of blank space between the Assessment and Plan when you print it.

How big of a problem is the editing of the medication database? Is there a way we could all contribute to edit the medication database and have a "community version" so there is no need for everyone to re-edit the same information on the database to minimize duplicate efforts. Could the website host the file?

scslmd:
There are many old posts on the subject of editing the meds database. It's not too hard, but it requires some knowledge of Microsoft Access.
I have submitted an updated version of the Amazing Meds database that I have been working on, and it is supposed to be posted on this website, but I guess it is still awaiting Vinny Meyer's approval.
I created it for personal use. It’s based on a free government database and it’s pretty comprehensive (12,000 entries). I have e-mailed it to a few interested parties and everyone seems to be pretty happy with it so far.

At this time:
Ability to put pharmacy name on script directly is my number 1 priority (but may be too late, as 3.7 is due out any second now), as my staff has to do this or I do this all the time. Pts do change their pharmacies, so it should be in script rather than in demographics area.
