Is there any way to check the database connections speed from one of the client computers in the office that is connected to the server, or is this impossible? I am trying to determine network delays between computers in the exam rooms and the server. This is a hard wired system.

Can it be accessed from a client computer or just the computer with the data base?

Run Amazing Utilities at client computer. Then Advanced options> Speed test

May need to run Amazing Utilities as administrator:

My computer> C:> Program Files X86> Amazing Charts> RIGHT CLICK Amazing Utilities> Run as administrator> Advanced options> test speed

Do this from client computer.

Good luck!

Unless the distance is over 100M (330 ft) for the cables, the difference should be negligible. Often in the nanosecond range (10-9 seconds). However there may be issues due to shielding that can drastically affect connection quality.
