So I left work on Friday, and forgot to send the full clinical summary to the patient portal for my patients that day (for MU2 core 7). And of course, I didn't realize my error until early this morning (Wednesday), when I ran the wizard and saw numbers I didn't expect.

So I sent all the summaries for Friday's patients first thing this morning, but the numbers generated by the wizard did not change.

It turns out, the wizard is unable to differentiate between calendar and business days. So even though I sent the reports on the third business days, it registers them as being sent on the fifth day after clinic and doesn't identify the measure as being meet for the patients I saw on Friday.

A chat with product support resulted in the recommendation that I submit this as a feature request. Seems to me that if AC is going to market itself as MU2 certified, the results it gives as to meeting the MU2 standards should be accurate.

I know the only work-around is to ensure that things are done within four calendar days. It's just frustrating.

Thanks for letting me vent.

V 8 will solve this as it automatically sends summary on signing chart
However I have a different issue

The provider in UPDOX pt portal is showing up as my ma
Sent issue to UPDOX this pm and waiting to see
Wonder if others have similar issues
Also UPDOX is confused when UPDOX has 2 charts on same patient

Sunil,

V7 of AC automatically sends a summary of that day's appointment when the note is signed as well. This meets MU2 core 8. However, to meet criteria for MU2 core 7 in AC you have to send a "Full Patient Record" clinical summary, and there is no way to automatically do this.

And also, it sends it as a CCD-A, overwriting in the portal, the encounter summary sent when the note is signed.

Hello. I just started doing the report for Stage 1 and I'm not really sure how to do it. I'm ok with the core and menu reports but the CQMs, I'm completely clueless. I tried inputting the G codes that fell under the parameters for CQM but for some reason the denominators increase but the numerator stays at 0 so the total score for each parameter remains at 0. Also, only "Cataract Surgery Complications" is showing up under Patient Safety and this does not pertain our practice. But when I select this parameter and run the report, the denominator and numerator remains 0 but exclusion shows 9 so our total score for this is -9.

Can somebody please help? Amazing Charts is supposed to call us back but no one called yet since last week and the deadline is coming up.
