Is it just me or is anybody else excited that Bert is closing in on 10,000 posts?

It amazes me that Bert takes the time and energy to invest in our well being and entertainment. GO BERT!

Bert will probably say that he is well over 10,000, that board upgrades etc. reduced his tally by hundreds of posts. So he probably is well over 10K.

Still, it will be nice to see!

Thanks guys. I wish I had a witty response, but Jon already stole the Freudian slip one. I wish I could comment on the future, but am already not on AC support's favorite person list.

@Marty, you are probably correct, so I will hang out at 9,999 as long as possible. Not posting after that will pretty difficult.

You guys are aware of the prize Jon Bertman established before he left.
First person to reach 10,000 posts gets:

So Samuel P. Chase is on the $10,000 bill. And, Woodrow Wilson on the $100,000 bill. I believe that Chase put his picture on the $1.00 bill but was since replaced by Washington. Chase has since lent his name to the Chase National Bank, now Chase Manhatton Bank. Of course, this is all from Google.

I think the award is null and void now that Pri-Med took over.

What I heard was Jon sold AC to Pri-Med because Bert was getting close.

Jon, I think you have it slightly wrong. The first person to reach 10,000 posts BECOMES the new picture on the $10,000 bill.

I can't even believe Jon had a $10,000 bill in his wallet. He must be doing a lot of colonoscopies. I know, sensitive subject.

The strange thing is, I could reach 10,000 in a thread or "threat" about 10,000.

I don't want you to think that I get that much for a colonoscopy. It was a family of 4, and the payment was for all of them.

I don't think we should be helping Bert to slide in to 10k this way. I am looking for about 20 profound (or at least helpful) posts.

Well, it's almost 10pm est and you're up to 9998. I'm heading off to bed though i feel a bit like it's New Years Eve and I should stay up and "watch the ball drop". Maybe I should announce the time and date, so the ball can drop, lol. And, I know what you're thinking. "Then you would be at 10,000."

Or as Jon knows all too well. He could start a thread in ALL CAPS saying "Peer to Peer is much better than Client/Server," and I would be trembling trying not to reply.
