A shout out to Lisa, Jimmie's charming wife on this rainy northwest Washington day as I cradle what has now officially become my favorite coffee mug; no small achievement as it has supplanted my handmade pottery mug made by my friend Reagan Yoder from 1982 which has been retired to emeritus status in a protected corner of my kitchen cabinet. Lisa's creation fits my hand perfectly, never dribbles coffee on my white coat, and provides a steady supply of hot patience through the perils of helicoptering parents, invisible rashes and Google-induced paranoias. It's subtle earth tones mute the emblazoned etching that I am indeed "Amazing Dave", if only in my own mind and in the quiet recess of my own office-domain.
Thank you Lisa and Jimmie for my little daily pleasure.

Lisa now has a studio and learning to fire with an electric kiln to cone 6 with all new glazes, transitioning from gas kiln, cone 10. She is having a great time.
I have taken up painting after just a slight 20 plus year hiatus, so we are transitioning to our creative phases of life, HA !
Thanks again Dave, and we still cherish the time with you & Carol !
