Home Forums Discussions General Discussion DOD pharmacies- where are they for e-prescribing

Just got a fax from United Healthcare for Tricare stating that the military pharmacies were now accepting e-prescribing.
But when I search in California using the DOD prefix only a few of them show up. I am pretty sure that there is more than one military pharmacy in San Diego but only one shows up.
Does the e-script provider need to update its files?
Is there only one main pharmacy and the rest are satellites using the same name?
It is at least a start (and for the ones listed they also include a fax and phone number).

You can search for pharmacies but it's a bit complicated. You have to log in as administrator, then go to "Set E-Rx", Account Administration, then click the "admin" tab at top right. Then click "Location Pharmacy List", then click "add pharmacies" From here you should be able to search using a fax number, zip code. If it's not found, click the "Click here if pharmacy not found" and it will give you some tips to search. If after that you still don't find it, send the pharmacy information to customersupport@newcroprx.com
