Rant alert:

All right, enough spamming from AC!

I get at least one email weekly: stories about docs using AC to save their practices (and sanity), "white papers" about meaningful use, HIPAA checklists, offers for the AC version of Updox, etc. At least two copies of each. And if I'm really interested, I have to provide my contact information, including my phone number.

I have been a customer since 2007. Is it that hard to cross reference my name & email to find that out? I already bought the software for goodness sakes. What's next, an AC version of Viagra?

With this marketing program, are in-app ads that far away?

They do have an AC version of Cialis in Beta currently. smile

Should be in the next beta.

Now this would be a good post to copy to the CAB forum.

Hi ryanjo,

We do manage multiple lists and do our best to ensure client emails are only on our client email list, however sometimes we do have multiple email addresses from our clients making it difficult to cross-reference and remove those from our lead generation email list. I'm more than happy to remove your email address from our lead generation list. Please send me an email (jhermanson@amazingcharts.com) with the email address where you received the marketing emails or you may simply click the "unsubscribe" button at the bottom of that email.

Thanks,
Josephine

I know whenever I think about how checklists can aid in maintaining HIPAA compliance I clutch some sort of black handbag in glee.
