Update Completed Successfully March 16th @ 3:00 PM.

The user board has been updated to the newest version. This should fix some major issues and some minor bugs.

Major issues:

1. There has been an issue where some users were unable to copy/cut and paste successfully. Furthermore, some could not even post at all. Hopefully, this should be fixed in this version as it was a known bug in 7.5.7. If you still have problems with this, PLEASE inform me in this thread.
2. The SPAM filter installed last year has been working well but now has increased functionality.
3. Several security issues were addressed.

As this is the latest version and only installed today, there are bound to be some bugs. This is the place to report those.

The upgrade may have caused some issues with one's cookies. The cookie is simply there to allow the board to remember your log in. Once deleted, the next time you log in, a new freshly-baked cookie will be made. Please go to this link to delete your current cookie if you are having problems logging in. It will look rather technical, but simply click the Expire Cookies button at the bottom left.

Finally, in an attempt to recoup some posts that previously did not take, some post counts may have been decreased. As your loyal admin, I took the biggest hit, losing 300 posts. Should be able to make that up in a week or so.

As an aside, it is always a good idea to copy your posts before submitting if it is a very long post.

Excellent job!

I sent several test messages to JBS. Both typing and cut and paste seem to be working, both short and long messages.

So I'm back! Now all I have to do is think of something useful to say.

This is useful enough.

So now this is getting really strange. Since it appears that I can now post, and cut and paste, I went back to a prior thread in which I tried, and failed, to post messages.

And, lo and behold, the message that I could not post last week, is now there, in its entirety!

So this appears to be a retroactive fix.
