I believe AC has some type of message alert that, upon opening a patient chart to most recent encounter, alerts a provider that a message or addendum has been recorded since the last formal visit.

I believe this might be activated by Main Menu -> Edit >Use Preferences > General > "Don't pop-up patient's interim Information Alerts when opening a chart" - and un-checking the box.

However when I uncheck the box, save it, and then re-examine the setting, the box consistently re-checks itself. ie. I can't uncheck this box.

Any recommendations on how to automatically notify oneself upon opening a chart to most recent encounter that a message or addendum has been recorded since the last formal visit?

Thanks,

Bruce,

Once you make the changes as you mentioned above. Exit out of Amazing Charts completely then restart it.

Hi Marty,

I tried following your instructions (un-checking the box, saving my change and immediately exiting and quitting and restarting the program (for us V 5.6.5)

Didn't seem to make a difference - no alerts to addendum, and the box still has that blasted check in it.

Your thoughts?

Bruce,

I wonder if you upgrade to a newer version this problem would get fixed?
