We have come across a significant issue with sign off of imported items. By unknown means (staff error, most likely) a number of items have made their way into imported items in AC but never seen by the provider nor signed off. We are stumbling across labs, x-rays, etc. that providers have never seen. According to tech support there is no way to generate a list of items that have been imported but never signed off. Of course I can do a bulk sign-off, but have no way now to find which patients have had potentially abnormal results placed in the chart but never seen by a provider. We will of course look to the human factors side of this, but be aware of the fact that the program is capable of leaving you with a big liability problem that you can't fix..

David,

I suspect that if you query against the database directly - you should be able to produce a list of imported items that need reviewed. You would still have to go look @ them one-by-one, but gives you a path to re-mediate.

OK, how would I do that Indy? I'm sure that someplace in the database itself is a field something like "Signoff [Boolean} Y/N" but we don't get to see that.
