Under the "Past Enocunters" tab, all of a Patients' Encounters are displayed as a list, with varying ways to filter that list. I'm looking for a way to print out that List so that I can know which Encounters I still need to key into AC.

Any ideas on how to print out this List?

I am a little confused when you say key into AC. What do you mean exactly? All of the encounters, addenda and messages are already in the chart by definition. Can you be more specific?

As far as printing the list, I do not think it is possible.

I'm just trying to see if there is any way to print out a listing of all the DoS/Encounters for any given patient as indicated in the yellow area. Can you print out the listing in the yellow area at all?

See the picture for details.

The short answer is that there is no concise way to accomplish what you want without running a specific query against the database.

There are outputs that will list those along with other things, but that doesn't sound like what you are looking to accomplish.

You might want to see of a printout of the vitals signs for encounters would give you what want
Having trouble uploading the image, but ....
the Past Encounters tab has a Filter radio button set, one of which is Vital Signs Only. That gives a "clean" listing (of VS) but has a print button, (AS Do the other filters, just a must longer list, eg. A/P sections give you all the text of all visits)

Roger is on the right path with using the Formal Health Record to print the encounter list. Open the patient's "Summary Sheet" and click on the "Formal Health Record" in the lower right. In this case you can skip the HIPAA screen, but normally you would want to fill this out. On the following screen you will be asked to select what info you want included in the record. Uncheck all except "Encounter History", then click Preview. This should be a list of all your encounters, like you see it in Past Encounters.

Feel free to PM me with any questions.

Thank you, Mark... I think most (or all) of us learned something there.
