Greetings everyone,

I added an ARNP a couple of months ago and would like to know if she can now enter into MU. She will start 2014 with doing her own documentation and billing ARNP visits. My guess, without really researching things yet, is that she will probably be able to enter directly into stage 2 or 3. I have just completed stage 2, for the 2013 calendar year.

Jay, this is a really useful introduction. If you scroll down the page, you will see a chart which shows that she will start as year 1, stage 1.

OK, I see it. She would enter the same process starting in stage 1, but the maximum reimbursement she will get for completing each stage will be much less. If she successfully completes stage 1, $12,000.
