Given the recent appearance of geese on this board, I am forwarding a New Years invocation that I received from a gardening website to which I subscribe:
What We Need Is Here
Geese appear high over us,
pass, and the sky closes. Abandon,
as in love or sleep, holds
them to their way, clear
