Do people know that Interface cost is $750, each separately for Lab & Radiology? When was the cost increased? It was not in the announcement for cost increase email that we all got.
I found out from Great Lakes Health Exchange that Interface cost was $750, and when I contacted Amazing Charts, Amy informed me that it was $750 EACH for Radiology & Lab!
Other than 1 local hospital and Quest, every other hospital and lab has refused to pay those costs.

I can tell you from hard experience that interfaces are hard to set up and hard to maintain. I'm surprised you're getting it done that cheaply.

I was told the set up cost for a new lab or rad interface for our developing HIE was $7500. (each) SanjeevP must either have some juice, OR the interface was already developed and the 750 was the one time purchase to be followed by annual maintenance fees (quoted 75)

Yes, for the lab to set up initial interface used to be $5500 and that has been increased to $7500. But once the Interface is set up, each provider has to pay $750.
