Brian was a voice of reason, and his wisdom is missed.
Who knows, he may return to the AC camp oneday.

Leslie Hospital Employed Physician Who Misses The Old AC
"It's a good thing for a doctor to have prematurely grey hair and itching piles. It makes him appear to know more than he does and gives him an expression of concern which the patient interprets as being on his behalf. "

From a business perspective, I totally understand the transition. Jon Bertman divests himself of AC either to get his initial investment and some profit out, or to just regain his sanity . PriMed will clearly have an agenda, and they will gently try to turn the AC ship in the direction they want it to head. Whether the product will improve or not remains to be determined, yet a change in leadership is not necessarily bad. A fresh set of ideas may be exactly what AC needs. From my perspective, I would love to see AC have a static medical history section that could be accessed independent of a progress note. The Summary sheet section is in my mind not very helpful (i.e. the ICD 9 code for Prostate Cancer does not reveal how it was treated or what key imaging/lab results have been. Practice management is also a key deficiency. Here is hoping change is positive.
