Are there any Medisoft VAR resellers online or do other AC customers use one they are pleased with ? Need to upgrade from V17 to V19.

Dear Steven,

Jump through the hoops and they'll connect you with a Medisoft dealer in your area:

http://www.mckessonpracticesolutions.com/ehr-reseller

I did it last week for client.

Cheers,

Steven,

If you would, I would like to know any reasons for upgrading you are willing to share, since we have v17 also.

Thanks

I have been on Medisoft v15 network for a long time. Have been considering upgrading for a while.

Recently got a paper flier for a VAR, medtechsys (http://www.medtechsys.net/), and called them.
They have been very helpful. I ordered V19 (Advanced, not network), paid for it, then thought I would have problems going from the networked version to the single version and cancelled the order. They were totally nice about it.

On rethinking I re-ordered, and so far am very pleased with their customer support. Can't say how their prices compare. And I have no vested interested in this company.

i think you can usually keep about one upgrade behind on medisoft and based on awful customer service from McKesson I dread upgrading but with impending ICD 10 and such I feel I have to upgrade. I laugh because when I first bought Medisoft I paid less than $500 to buy and now version upgrades are 600-700.

If you buy from Medisoft directly they include no support in $650 fee - including getting it to install. If it won't install they want several hundred more to help. I have heard some VAR offer some support and don't do this to you so wanted to see.
