We have one provider at our practice whose Erx to mail order pharmacies consistently fails. Tech support has so far been unable to solve the problem. Is seems that the ones that go through RxHub are the ones that fail. Anyone have any ideas? The provider happens to be an NP. Her Erx to local pharmacies are not a problem.

I have had this problem periodically. It has something to do with NewCrop, not AC. I have never had a good explanation of what happened. We cannot contact NewCrop directly, only AC support can.

Have you tried making her a physician and see what happens?

Also, go to E-prescribing --> Prescription Status and make sure under Transmit Method it says Electronic and under Status, it says Verified.
If it says Fax and Success (which it will if it is not codified, etc.) that just means it was faxed.
But, if you have a lot of the latter, and it is mostly with the NP, you have a problem. But, the good thing is that it can be fixed.
You can also check under Sent To, what pharmacies are the culprit.

The problem seems to have gone away... it seems that rightsource was having a problem communicating with Surescripts. thanks for the tips, Bert.
new question:
I've been writing all my rx in AC directly, should I be using new crop?
