For the past several week and intermittently throughout my use of UD, I have trouble signing dox. I have resynched db, cleared cache, done cold boot.

1. Anyone else have this problem?
2. What else can I do. If I can't do my work as it goes, it piles up and my hole gets deeper.

PS The other tools: alpha and x work.
PSS Sometimes a post here speeds up their response to my email (hint hint) I have worked my butt off to get my ud box to a point where it is manageable. I don't want technical stuff to keep me from doing my work.

Anyone have alternative services to UPDOX?
They are wonderful when you can get them.
Unlike our Guardian Angels, they are very hard to reach and I feel a bit
at their mercy to get back with me as they choose.

It lost the signature.
Sometimes it "refinds" it?
Why?

We have ran into similar issue with one of our providers. The other 3 haven't had issues. Last I got from support was to clear cache, reync, logout and back in. We are waiting to see if those things help but I am not to optimistic. He was losing his sig about daily and I also had to wait quite a while to get a response from support.

I hope you can get this fixed. In the meantime, I suggest you use the mouse to "draw" your initials or an approximation of your signature. It can be just as fast.

I am interested if anyone has an opinion that this work-around is legally unwise.

Thanks Dan.
I fixed it when I uploaded another signature.
I would be afraid to do the work around because of liability

I have found Meg at Updox to be very helpful. Their turnaround time is about 24 hours right now. They only have a couple people doing tech support, but for the price we pay it is understandable. Updox is a good value!

I am not convinced myself of the legality, but it works for drug reps wanting you to sign for samples on their ipad, and for UPS/FedEx deliveries.

Electronic signatures are legal by Federal statutes.

I had same trouble and here is the emial form updox support that fixed my problem and have not had any signature problems since then

First from the View menu choose the Clear Cached Pages option.
Then from the View menu on the top menu bar choose Resync Local Database. It will prompt you that the action will take a minute to complete just click OK.
If that does not fix it for you try then to Sign Out and Exit (from the Actions menu) and relaunch, sign in.

I have another issue with Updox. My receptionist does not have the option of printing a general document on the computer to Updox as I do. She can 'print to PDF' but there is no Updox virtual 'printer' installed. Mine was automatically placed.

Suggest contact Updox support, they can install an Updox virtual printer on her desktop. Until then, set up your Updox printer to be shared, and have her install the shared Updox printer.
