I've been using AC meaningfully for 3 mos now, planning to submit MU attestation by year's end. For grins, I ran the MU wizard to see how well I'm doing, and flunked dismally on the Core 3 (Prob List) measure, although I've diligently listed Problems for all pt's seen. (I do so from the Most Recent Encounter (MRE) screen.) Running the problem down, I find that on ~90% of patients charts, though they have Problems listed on the MRE screen, if I look on the Summary page, they've all been termed inactive, resolved, with a date of 12/30/1899 (!) so the MU Wiz says there's no Problem list. What gives? Why are the Problems I add defaulting to inactive/resolved, and what's with that crazy date? Is there any global way to fix this, or must I manually re-enter all my Problems? Obviously I can't use the MU Wiz to attest until I've resolved this.
