Our office just switched from the trial period to the licensed version of AC. We got the eprescribe feature turned on but have a few questions.

1) even though we are e prescibing the transmit method says fax? Is this always the case or should it say electronic?

2) Previously we were using allscripts, is there a way to notify everyone that we have switched or as we send thru surescripts will the pharmacies just update, as they did when we first started using allscripts

3) And finally once the rx is sent it seems to automatically open a message window, do we need to actually send a message or can we close this?

1) Ping support and have them log on and see what is going on - it should show electronic instead of faxing if the pharmacy has e scrips.

2) I think you need to deactivate allscrips so refills will not go there anymore - if it was a free program and you want to keep it as backup you should contact them and turn off e refills via allscrips.

3) No message window here - what does it say?
