I just received payment from Magnacare, one of the companies Dr C signed up for before I become involved. They have now started providing reimbursement via their new service EZ Pay. This is a CREDIT CARD/DEBIT CARD --they acutally have a Visa credit card number and CCV code printed on it. This means i'll have to pay a credit card fee for the d*#% payment.

No way would I accept that! I would call the provider rep and tell them it's not going to happen that way or you are going to cancel your contract. And while your at it tell that the reimbursement is insufficient and they need to raise it or you are going to cancel your contract.

We had an insurance company that tried that on us over a year ago. I called them and told them we don't accept credit card payments. They did not argue and sent the check. I do like the idea about the reimbursement being insufficient.
