Please take a few minutes and program a pop-up notice to AC that would pop up when the chart is opened. It would be large enough to block the chart and would be centered in the screen. There would be NO missing it. There needs to be a way to remind doctors and staff of important aspects of a patient's chart, so it will not get overlooked. When it pops up, we can X out of it and proceed if we want, but it will continue to pop up until delibrately deleted. This is VERY IMPORTANT. Your system of flags and yellow reminders are nice but are VERY EASILY overlooked (I say this through experience). When we had paper charts, we could easily flag a chart with a red piece of paper which important information. It was never overlooked. Our practice management software (Practice Manager - STI Computers Inc.)has this ability and it works VERY WELL to remind front desk staff about insurance issues with patients. AC needs this. I have asked before, and it seems that it would be a simple addition. Please make this part of your next update. While you are at it, please change your flags to red or give us that option. Also, it would be nice to have the option to have critical flags and/or messages flash to draw the users attention to them.

Ed, the reminder box in the left yellow corner used to be a pop-up box.

Used to be... We have these interim chart notifications that pop up, so give us the option to create our own pop up alerts. I'm getting old, and I need a more "in your face" reminder. Little yellow boxes are useless smile

Alternatively....

"As mentioned before, the "Flag" is kinda weak. Black and white on a black and white background should be replaced by a contrasting color or, better yet animation. After all, a flag should wave but even if it just wiggled a little bit that would be helpful for alerting re special patient information."

Hey, I'd love to see the flag wave! An option to substitute alternate flags (Albanian, Costa Rican, etc) would also be great. I agree that a larger pop up would be great - I use the yellow box in demographics but it is not large enough.

I would like the ability to have flags of different colors attached to different reminders. If a patient had 3 of these reminders, then 3 flags should show up. The flags and the yellow note should be close to each other so they are read at the same time. And yes, a full pop up would be great too. I have a use for each of these forms of 'reminders' - every little bit helps.

We want the phone number displayed to have the option to save it as the preferred instead of the home. If someone wants to be contacted by cell first we have to click onto the demographic screen to find out what number to call and it is frustrating when the computer is taking so long to go from screen to screen.
