I am putting this up on the board because Quest tech support has not been helpful.
Our Quest interface with AC has been up and running for over 6 weeks now and:
- the automatic download (autoprint) does not work even we have it set to check every 2 hours. Does work if we do a manual download once a day-- so tha ts what we do!

- in the manual download everyday, we specify a date from yesterday to today. However, if there is say urine culture from 3 days ago which is resulted today and we want to get it, we put the date from 3 days ago and today and of course if pulls all the results in that period-resulting in duplicate notifications.

-the only good thing is that only the notifications are duplicate, the results in AC imported items do not get duplicated.

-Anyone have sulutions?

I don't know but maybe you could ask AC support (do you pay for annual support? I think they would help regardless). I prefer Lab Corp, but the Quest interface should work better than what you are describing.

Good pictures, btw. It looks like you have a really nice practice.

They need to have one of their real techs come out and configure it. Again.

We have the Quest interface and it seems to go "down" frequently.

When we reboot the server we get many quest labs that I have dealt with because we had to get them manually.

How do you set the interface to check every 2 hours? This is the first I have heard of that.

Thanks

Hello, this is Vance with Amazing Charts.

To Dr. Godbole: This is an issue we have seen a few times when dealing with Quest. Something happens with Autoreceive (this is the software that Quest installs to send us the files to import) that causes it to not send results automatically, but the manual download still works. Unfortunately I do not have an easy fix for you as this is Quest's software, but we would be willing to speak with Quest on your practice's behalf to try and get it straightened out. Please contact us and ask for me when you have a chance so we can investigate before reaching out to Quest.

To Dr. Paiano: This is a setting in the Autoreceive application that Quest provides, they normally install it on your server. Normally you will see Autoreceive running in your taskbar, right click it and select Configure Subscriptions. From here click the option that says "Choose From the Following Available Subscriptions", and you should only have one to choose from. Select it and press next. Here you have the option to choose how often Quest exports the files. In most cases I see Quest configure it to run every 15 minutes, so this is how I would recommend configuring it. I hope this helps, unfortunately if you have problems receiving results from Quest there is little we can do on the AC side, as we simply import whatever Quest sends us and have no control over what is actually sent. If you are looking for more info or help with configuring Autoreceive beyond this you will need to reach out to Quest.

Hmm..... having my own picture and that of my colleagues be posted on the board by someone else was a little creepy!
