You know, somehow, Bert posting his 1000th one day ahead of the New Year is analogous to the Times Square Ball dropping on the 30th.
BUT, if I'm not mistaken.... almost all of the New Year Eve's celebration is prerecorded (especially here on the West Coast). Is there a way to "rebroadcast" Bert's 1000th post so he get his 1000th during the countdown?
Can the Moderator/Administrator set the clock back? I believe in Great Britain they set the clock back (or at least stop the clock)when the Queen Elizabeth is late to a social gathering (as She can never be late!).
I think we need a catchy slogan for this board:
"One post and we got ya!"

"One post and your toast!"
