Patients gender has to be assigned in the demographics page. (choose and save). If not the illustration will not load as it is gender specific.
Once you open the patient's chart,
click on the illustration,
choose the body area you want to document,
an area pops up where you could write the description,
choose the color of your document with left mouse click-
red for rash,
blue for bruise,
black for (old) blood (hematoma)/gangrene,
green for that pigment producing pseudomonas infection etc,
then use the right mouse click on desktop or tablet pc and draw.
(you can choose the thickness of your lines too)
I have noticed that the right mouse on tablet pc pen gives better hand control. You could reference to the illustration in the body of your physical exam.
Bingo! you are done.
This is very elegant, brilliant way of documenting the illustrations created by Jon and his staff- no need to open another page, while printing the note- it will print your illustration in the end of note.
