How do I use the pictures from the Illustration folder?
Do I need to import an illustration into the Imported Items and then modufy it?

Patients gender has to be assigned in the demographics page. (choose and save). If not the illustration will not load as it is gender specific.

Once you open the patient's chart,
click on the illustration,
choose the body area you want to document,
an area pops up where you could write the description,
choose the color of your document with left mouse click-
red for rash,
blue for bruise,
black for (old) blood (hematoma)/gangrene,
green for that pigment producing pseudomonas infection etc,
then use the right mouse click on desktop or tablet pc and draw.
(you can choose the thickness of your lines too)
I have noticed that the right mouse on tablet pc pen gives better hand control. You could reference to the illustration in the body of your physical exam.
Bingo! you are done.

This is very elegant, brilliant way of documenting the illustrations created by Jon and his staff- no need to open another page, while printing the note- it will print your illustration in the end of note.

WE WERE PLAYING WITH THE ILLUSTRATION OPTION AND COULDN'T GET IT TO SAVE. WE DREW ON THE BODY PART, SIGNED CHART, THEN ADDED THE REST OF THE CODES. THE ILLUSTRATION DIDN'T SHOW UP AT THE END OF THE CHART NOTE AS PROMISED. WHAT ARE WE NOT DOING??? IT'S A GREAT TOOL, AND WE'D LOVE TO USE IT...
THANKS!

Are you having problems consistently?
Is it on wireless or wired computer?

I would try on a wired computer and if it happenening consistently (2 is good enought) report to Jon or Carlos
