How can the lab reprint the Providers multi-test Orders on one page.
Currently:
Providers send the lab a msg order with patient name and multiple tests.
The msg order doesn't include patient demographics or insurance info like
a regular formal test order form printed out by the provider at their workstation.

But
We have found that we can double click on the msg and it will bring up an order window
where we can often print the more formal order(Its very slow to load).
And It doesn't work consistently. Some providers orders it will let you reprint all tests on one sheet. On other providers msg orders it wont.

Anyone have experience with this?

AC is fantastic.
But I would like to advocate developing the Laboratory side of it.
If they would prefer not to develop that part of the software then perhaps they can help facilitate the creation of an interface with products like 4medica that allow the IOP or lab to hold the Order/Requisition electronically until the patient presents for Lab work.

In the ideal system.
1. Providers could continue to Create Orders as they currently do in A.C.
2. These Orders would electronically cross over to a product like 4medica to be held until the patient presents for lab work (Onsite at the clinic or at remote lab draw site)

This would:
1. Reduce paper use
2. Reduce patient wait times
3. Provide updated status of patient's collection status to clinic.
4. Reduce Order Date Entry Errors

A more streamlined path of information if you will.

Discovered a possible reason for the inconsistency:
Some providers free text the entire list of lab tests and then "add" it
Others providers use the individual lab test Check-boxes and then "add" it

1. Why does "view orders" take so long to load?

2. Is there a way to search Lab tests, rather than having to scroll down each time to the individual test each time?
