As of 2008, I am switching from 15 to 20-minute time slots.

I went under "Administrative Options", and generated a new schedule for myself reflecting this fact.

On the computer I used to make the switch, the new schedule looks perfect. On all the other computers, the schedule is starting out at the new time, but then continues to count off appointments every 15 minutes instead of 20. I have to go under "Administrative Options" on each PC, and change each schedule, PC by PC.

Is that how this is supposed to work?

I think it won't "take" until you open AC again. In other words if you go out of AC and log back in, the changes should happen on all computers. Gee, I headlining in three diff posts. So there, Paul and Bert!!

Okay, I've worked it out.

Donna had the first part of the answer; that gets the basic underlying schedule onto each separate PC.

But, then you just have to go onto each computer, under "Adminstrative Options", then go under "Appointment Types & Time/Display Increments", and set to new "Schedule Time Display".

When you do that, it tells you plainly:

"Changes will not be evident until you restart AC, and will only be evident on this computer."

In summation, you only have to change the schedule on one computer, but you have to set the time display increments on each individual computer.

(And no, I was not having a lame problem on purpose to jack up my post count!)

If you really want to get your post count up, just come up with some stupid all over the place workaround for everything.

For instance, for the above problem, open AC. Change schedule. Close it. When you opne it, you will see that none of them jive. Now open paper appointment book. Change appointments to 15 minutes. IMPORTANT: Must close and reopen book for changes to take effect.

And, Brian, you can no longer tell me you're too busy to reply, try, change, buy anything now that you will have, what, 20 X 5 minutes = 100 minutes more time during each day. Wait, that makes no sense. smile
