My biggest wish on the eRx system is that you could register 2 pharmacies for a patient-- a mail order pharmacy and a local pharmacy. Then you could have programmed both of the patients pharmacies in the system. The eRx system we used to use (RelayHealth) had this feature.

Good idea....a local pharmacy and a mail away would definitely cut down on clicks.....I feel my life clicking away....I want AC to form a new position VP - in charge of click reduction....

Having 2 preferred pharmacies would be great. Of course they still need to fix the bug that some of our patients have a preferred pharmacy selected but when I write a prescription, nothing is shown (and you can't go back to the demographics page to check) Greg

I also wish for having two remembered pharmacies for pts, for the same reasons listed above. However I will go one small step further and ask for AC to remember the last 3 pharmacies. One for mail aways, one for local urgencies, and one for "oh well I usually use Rite Aid for urgencies and CareMark for long term Rx's, but today I'm going to the mall and Walmart is right there, send my script to Walmart today, thanks doc."
