You really have to do something to avoid accidental shut downs of AC. A message should come up and ask if you really want to close AC. elementary my dear watson

I assume you are talking about accidently shutting down a chart note by clicking the big red X box. This is an age old problem I spoke with them many times about. It should automatically save your note somehow. I haven't had a problem since I started using CTRL S to save to my box every time, thus getting out of the habit. However, we have been trained through many generations of Windows to hit the X at the top right screen to close a window. Unfortunately, in AC this loses the chart and all your work. Even MS Word reliably asks if you want to lose all your work by closing.

I wish the "resurrect last note" option auto-saved more frequently than every several minutes.
