And Adam cracks the top ten with a flurry of posts over the past two weeks.

Ironically,

700 gets him in
7000 # of my posts is unnoticed. The first 1,000 mark to go unnoticed. smile Just sayin'

Guess I set myself up for that one.

I will never again bring attention to my accomplishments.

Congratulations Bert.
If the ACUB listing is correct, your first post was 5 years ago. 7000 posts in 5 years--that's 3.8 per day--with no days off! We should all chip in and send you to Aruba for a week in thanks for your dedicated service. Everyone in Maine needs a few days in Aruba this time of year. Accuweather tells me it's 6 degrees in Brewer right now, going down to -7 degrees tonight.

Actually, that first post was after the big crash. The board was hacked, and there was no backup.

It's too bad, because my last post predicted, CCHIT and MU, gave explicit directions on how to fix the letter writer, fixed all problems with the TSP printer and gave a link to the download for fixing slow prescription writers. smile

Must have been a glitch on the board. Adam passed David with 700 posts, which is clearly less than 900. Strange.

No glitch, Adam and David are just running with each other (in terms of numbers).

Yes, Bert. Tell us about your first time. wink

Congrats on 7,000, but each thousand over 5,000 doesn't mean quite as much as the others. But when the big one happens....10,000, you get a big congrats from me. I'll take you to our restaurants. You get one place of your choice for three weekends in a row.
In case I forget, it's permanently stated here on the ACUB for all to witness.
Congrats buddy laugh

I first registered for the board on 9/27/03. I posted the following day. The crash took place on or about 1/27/06.

Adam, are you just going to take him to a restaurant, or are you going to buy him dinner? Let's get it on the record now.

Buying dinner is what I meant by "taking him to dinner."
I would never take him there, we would drive separately. haha.
Yes for the record, buy three dinners for Bert upon 10,000 posts.

They are not counted. I seem to recall about 2000 plus as there were far fewer users on the board. From a quick glance, the only active users that would remember would be Leslie and Wendell.

since you are the ACUB admin, can you edit the listed post count to give yourself credit for those 2,000?

No, that cannot be done. Plus, I don't think it would be accurate or fair. You would have to then edit Leslie's etc. I think they are fine.

I am fine with my number of posts. In fact, I rarely take notice.

Didn't I have 100,000 before the crash? or was it 100?
