You can check status detail on https://ehrincentives.cms.gov/hitech/statusDetails.action
I am also about 8 weeks after attestation and in my case there is info that payment was sent to the Payment File Contractor ?

Did some research and it looks like the Payment File Contractor holds onto the money until you reach the magic $24000 in Medicare billing. It looks like they give you through February to make this. So it it will probably be awhile before my portion is released.

Illinois Medicaid just opened up for attestation.

Very easy, I primarily had to calculate total encounters and percent Medicaid. Everything else was easy, just yes and no answers. I had heard the Medicaid was easier than Medicare but also is slower. SCHIP is excluded but since it is processed as Medicaid in most states it is difficult to sort out. They simply put 95% of total medicaid as the "non-SCHIP" and auto-calculated this.

If anyone has questions about generating this data let me know. Basically do a billing export for the time frame to excel and sort the column of insurances, then count.

They do not anticipate any money before February of 2012. Figured I would get my request in quickly before it all dries up.

I really expect this to all go away with deficit reduction. I would hate to have invested $44,000 only to see it vaporized. Actually the program is welfare to work for IT specialists and EMR companies.

Does anyone know how much longer to until I see payment after I see "bank information received" in the "payment status"? Thanks!

It took exactly 2 months alltogether in my case. I attested on 9/26 and received deposit today smile
