to get reimbursed for signing Home Health Plan of Care Code G0180 pays 71.05 and G0179 pays 50.00 Has anyone used these and do I submit a claim for just that code on the day Dr. signs the poc???? We usually receive the orders via fax, dr signs them - Do these codes pay now or are they part of pqri thing that pays next year?

You use them the day you sign the orders and not all insurances pay them. Use the ICD-9 codes supplied from the home health organization. Also some insurances require 60 days between signatures. When I create superbill in AC I put the dates covered bu the cert to make it easier when looking back thru to get right date.

On G0179 & G0180 the "start" date and the "to" date mest be the same
On G0181 & G0182 the "start" date and the "to" date must be different, BUT they must be in the same calendar month.
