I need help. Up to now I have been using gmail to get copies of op notes, labs, etc from hospitals / labs etc which my office then imports into AC. I have just been informed this is not HIPPA compliant. What options do I have as far as email is concerned? We are a two man group and run our own show. I am looking for an affordable solution. As far as gmail, I have to delete all emails I guess? Please be gentle with me, I am very shaken.

If you have a secured network in your office and a multifunction printer you can route all your faxes to an email account in your network. You will need a phone line for your mutifunction printer. Others on this board have used updox. I still prefer my $ 15 a month phone line that I plug into my mutifunction networked printer and receive unlimited faxes routed to a secure email in my office network. Hope this helps Grenville

Sorry, it is HIPAA. My mistake. @grenville: I have a network but I get email via Myfax.com, an internet service. I do not have in house email server. thanks for your input. I may have to try it your way afterall.
