This to update those on the board that are interested that we will indeed be getting together in Lake Tahoe this Fall.
The dates are 27-30 October, although some are coming early and some are staying late.
The schedule is still being crafted (inputs solicited), but we are planning a Friday night grill under the Pines, Saturday night dinner cruise on the Lake, and some hiking and sight-seeing.
Since this is a working meeting, the subjects that different presenters will be providing is how folks do different things.
Some of the subjects that have come up are how folks do/track orders, how folks use Paperport/Updox, how folks are handling multiple locations, [your brilliant idea here].
There are already Craps and Hiking experts at the ready for your off-hours, but we were not able to arrange for mountain mule rides [this year].
For my part I will be doing a mobile 'petting zoo' where I will be wrangling hardware vendors to loan us some toys to play with, and I'll update the subject I presented at a previous ACUC of where mobile is going. If folks are interested, we can do some interactive design discussion with the rapid prototyping tools.
Tomorrow morning we will be updating the accommodations list of what cabins that are still available, and I'll be posting the site maps of the cabins, along with descriptions and our group rates.
There is a restaurant on the grounds, but you are free to drive 5-10 minutes to several casinos or other fare around the lake.
We will be meeting in the largest cabin, and the only cost will be for the shared costs (meeting cabin, coffee, the beverages we stock in, snack foods)
We have volunteers to man the grill, Leslie will be in early to help setup base-camp, [and lead-rope on some of the more challenging ascents?], your participation is part of the fun.

Alrighty! We are open for cabin reservations. The link below will take you to the page that has cabin descriptions, our per night group rate, and a map of the site. http://providersinn.com/?q=content/tahoe-cabin-mapPlease post here with your cabin request, first come, first served. Next we will compile the cabin & names into the completed list and turn that over to the group manager at the facility. Once they have the group list, you can contact them to book the exact nights that you want to stay and make payment arrangements. They will also be taking the reservations and payment if you want to attend the dinner cruise. Post any questions here; we look forward to seeing everyone!

Well darn! It does sound like a lot of fun as well as informative. Alas, that dirty 4 letter word that ends in "k" makes it impossible to join in. Maybe next time. ~S~

Because the inexpensive rates for Tahoe are Spring and Fall, if everyone likes the facility, we'll probably offer to host a working group once or twice a year.
Looks like we will have to wait until next time to see some of our compatriots make the rope ascent. Although lots of folks do the Rim Trail in segments, one per visit, so maybe we'll start the project of hiking the Rim this Fall.

Nimi, Welcome to the ACUC. Although your post is kind of in the wrong location, I will still answer your question.
There are a number of ways to document in house labs. In my office we do it in the note section (main screen at the bottom.) We have made templates to simplify the process. Others use them as a separate addendum. I am sure there are more ways. It's somewhat complex to put them in as a tracked item (I think you have to go into the summary sheet R side of the page) but they become granular data and can be tracked. The problem is you have to look harder to find the results, versus it showing up in the chart as an entry.

The patient's expectation is that you have all the answers, sometimes they just don't like the answer you have for them

OK, gang. Last call for the Lake Tahoe get-together. A casual, friendly and hopefully educational gathering in a beautiful location. Sign up with Indy by the end of this week (or you will miss out on a grilled steak dinner also featuring Martin, master of the Dutch oven, and all the cheap wine you can drink).
