Okay so this has been happening consistently. My front desk starts the chart and forwards to me..i double click and open it..and then it opens and i click into one of the boxes and then it always will go to the main AC screen. The ochart doesn't close or get lost but this is just annoying

This is where a picture is worth a thousand words. My developer won't even answer an email about a bug if I don't send him a video. Download CamStudio and make an .avi, then upload it to a website so we can all see what is happening.

If I am experiencing what you describe, what seems to happen is just it flips windows. If I go to the AC icon on the task bar and hover over it when this happens, the open chart is shown there and I just navigate to it. Similar to what happens if I had accidentally clicked on a window behind AC. I get this about once a day. Once I learned to stop panicking it became only another curious anomaly among many with AC. And, Bert, the issue is that it is unpredictable and unreproduceable, so making a nice movie of it is out.

then it always will go Dave, I hear what you're saying, and you are probably correct, but Ketan makes it sound as if it happens every time.

This has only occurred within the past couple of days for us. It has only occurred on one machine, our newest, running Win7 and AC 6.09. As described above, clicking anywhere in the patient's chart takes you back to the main AC screen (without closing the chart). Once it was quite persistent; roughly 10 times in a row, trying to enter the note (in various fields) repeatedly took you back to the main screen. We finally closed the chart and reopened it to make it stop occurring. Hopefully this will not prove to be a more common problem; if so, it could be very annoying.

This is happening not everytime but a good 75-80% of the time. It is also true that it flips the window so if you hit alt-tab or go the the AC icon yo ucan pick the correct window. Again not a killer issue but annoying enough with 20 or so notes a day.
I will try to take a video of it for you guys to see what happens. Thanks for the tip on that Cam program.

Sounds annoying as hell. One day I'll share the AC most annoying thing from hell story.
