Good Morning to one and all,
I have not yet upgraded to V6, in part because of the issues I see posted here. It seems the biggest reason for upgrading would be to meet MU criteria. Since I am not participating in MU (NPs are not EPs), is there any other advantage to upgrading?
Thanks,
Barbara

Apparently NPs are EPs in the Medicaid side if you meet the other criteria.
Some of the V5 bugs are fixed. One little thing - Rxs box closes after Rx is sent, is nice. Rx in general either works better or is dog slow depending on your computer.
I have experienced both and now with the workarounds (see other posts) things work well.

Thanks Wendell,
I am aware that we can participate in the Medicaid side as long as our practice has at least 30% Medicaid patients.

Rxs box closes after Rx is sent, is nice This is where we need more preferences. We have an option to have the note and letter writer dialogue box pop up or not. Why not with this new script closing thing. My MA and I really do not like this "feature." Print something and then need to go back and print another thing (there are many occasions when this is necessary), and you have to open the script writer again.

Is there a video that highlights the new changes in version 6?
I will be upgrading our program from ver 5 to ver 6 and I would like to show the staff the new changes. I know one year you did this and it was helpful. I'm not looking for the change log.

I would stay on 5 if I were in your shoes, until the issues with 6 were solved.
If you decided to upgrade, make sure you have dual processor PC's, at least 2 gigs of ram on each too. Read some of the other posts.

Kirk is correct.
But, I don't think you can assume that upgrading your computers will make a difference. It didn't with mine.
