Of course, missing from the above are:
XP Media Center Edition - came on our new front desk computer. Linux - run ALL.. and I MEAN ALL of our servers on it.
Have run AC under Linux, with no real problem, but at the moment am not running any Linux desktop software at the office.
Be interesting to see the results when more people weigh in.
Regards,
V.

Bert, Impressive- 80% are solo-practitioners! (n=5) . But is it too late to separate the categories out.
We need a get out the vote campaign. Goal n=100. Would it be alright to send PMs to all potential voters?... including the dead ones?

Dead Voters!!! This is sounding all too much like Boss Tweed and Tammany Hall. Are some of you from NYS or Chicago??? Land of the dead voters.... Sorry I couldn't resist. But seriously while we are at it, how about a real get out the vote to support healthcare providers being allowed to be involved in the "reform" of healthcare? So far most of the major candidates are failing. Good Night and Good Luck Paul

Sorry about the poll. It's a bit difficult at least for me. I have to estimate how many boxes I need. Then if I run out, I have to start over. Not sure what would happen if I chose 50, then used 20. A bit difficult to separate them out.

Bert, As you said it was difficult to lay out this survey and thanks in advance for putting it together for all of us. That being said upfront, I think that you should have included EZ-Claims since it is supposed to interface right up with AC so easily and I would have liked to see Altapoint since it is one of the X-Link capable ones and I was thinking of getting it for our place. Looks pretty full of good features for a good price.
But thanks again for doing this. Question: I would gather that Jon and AC would have some of this info since they are our vendor and know something about most of us...Might AC post some of it's practice demographics for all of us to see and know???

Here are some things people are always asking about:
LabCorp Interface Quest Lab Interface
Also... Dragon Naturally Speaking / other voice recognition software. I guess IMH = Instant Medical History interface?

N=14 I am surprised at how AC is stacked with solo-practitioners. No wonder why I love this group!
In our area with a medical staff of over 300 physicians, I can think of only 18 soloists (of which only 10 are primary care). I recently met with our next state senator at a campaign fundraiser(his win is assured although election ballots have not been counted), and I asked him to consider if he will introduce legislation to place "soloists" on the Endangered Species Act. He thought that was funny (although I was being dead serious). We need protection from predators, hunters and toxins which are killing us off.

Roy, What you guys need is protection of your habitat. Your habitat is being destroyed and polluted in the ever growing "Medical Industrial Complex". I love your humor Roy even is you are after my terrain....

N=14 Need to keep this board on top so we can capture the votes. I hate to say this but from the number of responses, I think this board is filled with dead voters. Will someone bury them so we can count the living?

I couldn't agree more. When you purchase AC, are you automatically registered on the boards. Maybe one should have to register and enter a post to be counted. Some may not know the board exists and others may be too busy making money while we complain and ride in Paul's jeep.

And, a few comments:
First, may it be that those with an off sense of humor post more. Most of us are quite funny or have a very twisted sense of humor.
Second, I have decided that all those with signatures whether masucline blue or otherwise have twice the chance of winning the jeep ride.
Three, all those who reside with Paul or are in any way related to Paul (Roy aren't you a third cousing or something?) are not eligible in the jeep ride but still are eligible for the next version's EULA writing essay to be chosen by a committee of Donna, Leslie and Barbara.
I apologize to anyone I have offended.

I love the essay writing contest!!! Great Idea. Does the winning submission get to replace and supercede an previous versions of the EULA??? And not that I'm sexist or anything but why are only the top posting girls on the panel? "Not that there is anything wrong with that" (get it?). Roy, How do I post in NY Rangers Red, White and Blue??? Classic original 6 team baby. "Let's Go Rangers!!!"
