I was wondering how everyone who has a PA, bills out the visits?
Does one just bill out under the practice name? Does one put a modifier in the charges to indicate PA? Does one put in rendering provider NPI(PA's) in the superbill?
Really appreciate any suggestions.

You bill under the practice name , assuming you have been credentialed by the insurance company, medicare and medicaid.

Msalem: Do you mean me the physician being creddentialed? I am the physician and I am credentialed. Does the PA need to be credentialed also?

I am assuming you are a solo practitioner? Are you billing under your own NPI number? What state do you practice in?
I think a little more information would help you get more answers.

I believe you should have the NPI number for the Pa indicated under the practice name . All payments should be sent to the practice name. Like group practice including several Doc. I am prety sure you should have your PA credentialed by each insurance including medicare and medicaid. You can certenly call the insurance companies and ask to be sure. The payment should be the same as for MD and PA Providing the service under the same group or practice name.

I am solo practioner who is credentialed on all the insurance plans. PA already has her own NPI number. I will bill under practice name and put her NPI number as rendering provider for whichever patients she sees. Am i doing this correctly?
Should she be credentialed by each individual insurance? If so, I don't see PA as provider in any provider books.

The answer to your question is to call the insurance company or to bill as you said and see if you would get paid.
