All of you who use version 6.09. Have you tried to delete an imported item? It cannot be done even with administrative passcode. It can get really frustrating. I've already reported it to tech support. Apparently, it is a known but and they are working on it. But it can be very annoying.
An extremely frustrated user...

If you click on any other imported item so it shows in the right pane you can then right click the one you want to delete. This is a bug that won't let you delete an "open" imported item

Steven,
This does not happen on all the charts. Only on some of them. It says the following:
"Amazing charts was unable to delete your file. This is usually caused by insufficient permissions or the file is in use by antoher process. Refer to the error message below for details:
Error Details: Permission Denied.
If persists call tech support..."

I had same problem and have been able to delete if I follow steps above. In my cases it was necesary to make sure you had highlighted another imported item. Then the right click and delete woeked fine

I've been able to delete imported items in V6.09 without any difficulty. Looking at Steven's post, I believe that's the way I've been doing it all along

We had problems with deleting imported items with the V6 beta. Some users could delete & other could not. After several lengthy sessions with tech support hooked into our server they resloved the problem a week or so ago.
So somebody in tech support knows how to fix it. We were working with Russell.

What if that's the only imported item and you wish to delete it? It's a problem when you cannot delete it and that's your only item.

This annoying bug in 6.09 was to be fixed in 6.10.
Has it been fixed?

This is NOT fixed in 6.10. You still have to move to another Imported Item to let the item to be deleted "close". Then right click over the item to delete, and choose Delete from the drop-down menu.
Oh, and no surprise, the Imported Items files don't stay closed. Still.

I find it very time consuming to sign off under the Admin/Tools, just to find it still in my outbox, and in my Dr's inbox. What a pain. I can't run from pc to pc to sign off each individual item. I have been online with tech support twice, for over an hour and a half, and have gotten no help at all. (They were confused about why the dr wouldn't want it in his inbox! Hmmm...duh, because he needs to see the IMPORTANT things!) I swear I knew more about AC than the tech support people. It's very frustrating, makes it hard for me to do my job, and the only pc that can delete the files is the main pc (which is needed for scheduling and billing, not taking a ten minute break every 25 items scanned to sign off). I find this irritating, and a major inconvenience that NEEDS to be fixed!

you can erase it by the following:
click on an item you don't want to erase or don't click on anything at all...then hover over the item you want to erase and RIGHT click. then you can delete it. if you hav it highlighted you don't have to.
it is an annmoying thing...

we're using version 6.0.9. i, as admin, was SO frustrated w/ not being able to delete incorrectly imported pdf files!!
basically, you DO NOT want to left-mouse click on file when it will open up Adobe viewer for you to see document. you want to ONLY right-mouse click on file for options menu to pop up, highlight "delete item" and proceed from there.
i think the bug has something to do w/ Adobe viewer. it generates the error message.
