I am not sure if this is a bug or I am not doing this correctly.
I want to run a report on any patient who has had an RPR done in the office. The RPR is codified as it was ordered through the orders section (not in free txt). The RPR was checked off as complete.
Now when I run a report, I query: Laboratory & Orders, Test name = RPR.
Nothing is showing up. I tried to see if maybe it was case sensative and it's not.
Any ideas?

When I did this it only showed a subset of Test Names - wonder if this is based on a list supplied by AC and not all labs - note you do not seem to be able to just put in just any text. I would suggest calling tech support and seeing if they have help (if they do please report back so we know).

Try searching for "rpr". Some alpha or text searches require the quotes.

As a follow up to my post. I want to be able to search for any patient who had an RPR between certain dates but was having problems.
I was able to run a report on the RPR's by doing it this way:
Query: Notes & Encounters, any field contains RPR (no quotes) Query: Notes & Encounter, Encounter Date > 6/17/2011 Query: Notes & Encounter, Encounter Date < 6/20/2011.
This then gave me a list of every patient who had an RPR between 6/17/11 & 6/20/11.
I would think you could run a report using: laboratory & Orders, Test name = RPR but nothing shows up.
The main purpose of this would to be able to search AC database for patients that are due for certain exams between certain dates so that the front desk can call & schedule patients for exams.

Now that I think about it, while this search would work it's not ideal. In that if the word RPR is anywhere in the body of a note instead of say the "Plan" section they would show up on the report.
Guess I can add this search function to the wish list.

Just got off with Tech support. Seems the Reports function still has bugs in it. I even tried doing a report using the CPT code for RPR....that didn't work either.
