Is anyone using Instant Medical History. I am looking for a solution to get patient information into amazing charts. Presently I have patient fill out new patient forms and then I retype the info into the chart. As I am getting busy I can not keep up

i would use phreesia. I tried starting with IMH but the guy is very unresponsive. And when i emailed him 4 times he emailed finally saying he never got my voicemails or emails. Then we set up a time to talk on the phone and go over the stuff i wanted written for my practice and he then didn't call at the meeting time on that friday which i blocked off my schedule for. I emailed him twice to follow up and he never responded. I know a group/academic center in RI who tried using it and i am sure they didn't like a lot of it.
Phreesia is receptive and gets back to you the same day. They are all over the hepling you make it work better!

Phreesia
I have been told by Phreesia that they can only make a PDF of the history obtained by Phreesia. Can anyone please tell me if they are copy and pasting into their notes or just saving as an import. I don't see how this can make my note taking faster. From what it sounds the only benefit to Phreesia is the Demographics info. Can anyone tell me if they have been able to use the patient info into their note

Dear mbfoot; I also ask patients to fill in New Patient Information Packet. One of my MA then transfer the info into AC and also scan the Package as Import Item. This helps me during patient's H&P to confirm if any doubt what my MA has enterted and what patient has put on the Form. I do not put all that info in the AC. Hope this help.

At our practice we use Phreesia and IMH.
We use Phreesia just for checking in. It is great because it verifies the insurance for you with a little prep work from your self. Also we have our Phreesia set up where they pay there co pays on the paid, which is great and saves time. We do not use the medical history part of Phreesia because it does not convert into AC. The demographics import directly in to AC except for stupid things like cell phone number.
IMH is great for patient histories. We have all our patients do their histories on the internet before their appointment. Once it is complete, when you open their chart in AC it automatically imports their history in to AC. You will have to do some editing on the history but it beats cut and paste.

So if you just use Phreesia for the demographics/insurance, how much does that cost?

Well, even though it isn't Phree anymore, $30 for the whole year isn't bad.

I think it is a small fee like that I don't exactly remember so don't quota me on that price but Phreesia get paid from the advertising that is on the paid when they finish checking in.
