Does anyone have a website for office where they can have patients book online?I would ideal like to use something that would integrate to ac schedule or atleast allow patients to see some available times.

We use AppointmentQuest. You can download a day's schedule into AC.

I hope this isn't a bump but, along the same lines, how about an appointment reminder software that interfaces c AC.

AC has a free interface already built it for Appointment Quest. You schedule your appointments on AQ, then in the morning download the days schedule into AC.

Yes, but does Appointment quest remind patients of their scheduled appointment?

For a full overview of AQ, just go to their website. www.appointmentquest.com .

But yes, it does send out an email reminder 48 hours before their appointment. AQ can be confusing to set up, as it is very configurable. But it will do most of what a small office would want as far as scheduling.

If one is currently booking in AC, how should one migrate to Appointment Quest?

You will have to enter your patients into AQ by hand since they dont have an import routine. We had many of our patients do their own by asking them to schedule their appointments online if possible, or if they didnt want to be put on hold, etc. Make it obvious that they have the option.

For those using appointment quest do you have a website that you have a link to book an appointment.I would love if you could share so I can see how it works.

As far as the uploading daily the schedule is it pretty quick?

Does the patient phone name dob etc all drop into AC?
Thanks

I checked out appointment quest website there are many options which package are people using seems wide range. It looks like the minimum package does not include import/export so not sure if that is a must.

If you wish you can go to our website and book an appointment. Please use the username and password below. Please make the appointment for a month or two from now so I have time to cancel it and so it wont interfere with patients booking appointments for the immediate future.

First warning. AQ customer service and support is pretty bad.
Second warning. See first warning.
They pretty much do it only by email.

The good news is that everything has worked very very reliably so the support wasn't needed...much. They do supply a fairly extensive instruction manual for download.

We have the $45.99 package. We started with the $20 package, but it only gives 5 schedules and we felt it was worth it to have more. I think you'll need to go at least with the $20 package to be able to export the schedule to AC.

Wayne,

I booked a fake patient in August. Very simple. That is a very impressive website. I feel so 20th century...

it also automatically generates an email to you notifying you that your appointment request has been received (or confirmed) detailing the time and date.

When you set up the schedule, is there a way to leave a certain number of appointments open until the day of the appointment? I usually accommodate same day sick visits and would want that to continue.

There are ways to accomplish this once you learn how to set it up. For instance, AQ does not allow any automatic double-booking. So, if you sometimes do this, you can always verbally have someone come on in and manually input the appt. by "adminsitrative override." I do this when we have a full or nearly full schedule.

Do you have to pay for the 30 day trial for it to work with AC or do you just have trial and can't import/export?

How is it working?I am anxious to hear?

We are not using it with patients, yet. The receptionist claimed she had to start the 30 day trial to get access to really play with it. I bounced the idea off some of the patients and they are anxious to try it.

with appointment quest can you block of schedcules? so only allow online bookings for certain types of patients, or kinds of visits?

for example i do ultrasoudn guided injections so for those of you who do OB visits, you may have different time limits on visits, how do you control all that?

thanks!

yes. You'd probably have a separate schedule for these visits, just like I have specific schedules for travel vaccination visits.

and with the integration, do the AC and AQ speak to each other or do you have to manually load the AQ schedule into AC? so if during the day, Kim is scheduling patients on the phone and someone is on the website scheduling appointments, then what happens? Does it ask for enough demographic and does it autofill this into AC?

you have do export the AQ file, and then Import it into AC. If you export/import a second time, it will re-import the schedule, and you will have to delete the duplicates. It did not do this initially, but started with one of the more recent versions of AC--maybe late version 4, early v5.

it takes very little time to import the schedule, and you can set an email alert so that you recieve an email when an appointment is scheduled. When using AQ, ALL APPOINTMENTS should initally be made in AQ to avoid accidental double-booking.
