We do not have a patient sign anything: the patient comes up to the window, we verify if any address, phone, or ins info has changed, and then a message is sent from the front desk to the check in nurse and MD. This automatically generates a time stamp, and helps to deliver any msgs pertinent to the visit. The provider then replies for orders, f/u appts, etc with the ablilty to save it automatically to the patient's chart.
